Debra Wesselmann

Debra Wesselmann, MS, LIMHP, is part of the treatment team at The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska in Omaha.

Debra has specialized in treating trauma resolution and attachment problems in adults, children, and families for the past 19 years. She is a certified consultant for practitioners utilizing EMDR, a specialized trauma treatment approach, and she is involved in research projects related to the treatment of trauma and attachment in adults and children.

She is the author of The Whole Parent: How to Become a Terrific Parent Even if You Didn't Have One. Debra has shared her expertise on the treatment of trauma and attachment at numerous professional conferences around the United States and in Costa Rica, Holland, Canada and Rome.

Debra received both her bachelor’s degree in education and master’s degree in counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
